Rats On Rafts have recently completed the recordings of their own version of KIEM’s 80’s discoclassic ’The Moneyman’. They got KIEM’s singer/synthesist Huub Kentie himself into the studio to produce the song.
Huub reflects on working with Rats On Rafts: “It was fun and very inspiring to work with these young, passionate musicians. We tried to capture ROR’s authentic somewhat stubborn live sound on tape. I think we succeeded” .
The B-side of the single will be a track called ‘Plastic Plaster’. This song was produced by ROR’s own David Fagan under the supervision of Huub Kentie.
